1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate making maps of rooms and floors.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which includes linoleum flooring in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms and a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was capable of driving close to walls and even across thresholds that are raised without issue. However, it had some difficulty getting down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it was near carpets or rug.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and refills its water tank onboard with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's water tank holds enough water for around 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied, though this can vary based on how much you use the mop.
The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to rinse out the dirty water tank regularly to prevent it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

Its navigation capabilities are solid as well, though it does sometimes get hung up on the tiny carpets or area mats that I have in my house (which is something you can reduce by creating a virtual boundary within the app). Its mopping capabilities are also quite good with a pair of spinning mop pads that can lift and scrub the floor instead of drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when required. Mops can also be refilled at the top of the station if required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship model of robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance, making it a clear contender for our best robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure an effective, customized cleaning is achieved.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our tests' most filthy areas well, and keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other dirt. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent that can navigate narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step. It is able to move from one room to another without needing to reverse the direction. This is a great feature for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than some competitors, however, and tends to leave a wide margin around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.

The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings, adjust mopping and suction power settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and more. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video supervision. But, you'll need a stable internet connection to use it through the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of removing debris and dirt however, it's not able to be able to reach every bit of dust. It's important to vacuum regularly, once a week.
